O Lord Jesus Christ, open the eyes of my heart, that I may hear Your word, understand it, and do Your will — for I am but a sojourner upon this earth. Do not conceal Your commandments from me; open my eyes, that I may perceive the wonders of Your law. Speak to me of those hidden and secret things that belong to Your wisdom. For You are the light of those who dwell in darkness, and from You proceeds every good deed and every gift. Amen.
